Strava is a tool that has become almost indispensable for all sports and exercise enthusiasts. You can track your performance, share your achievements and compare your statistics with your friends and a worldwide community.
I’ll show you how to reduce this cost and get a cheap Strava subscription so that you can enjoy the Premium features without paying the full price, so that running remains a pleasure!

Why use Strava?
Strava is first and foremost a platform dedicated to sportspeople that lets you track and analyse your performance. If you like running, cycling, swimming or even other sports, Strava offers many benefits and features:
- Detailed activity tracking: you can record each training session and consult precise statistics on your distance, time, speed, calories burnt, etc.
- Comparison with a worldwide community: you can compare your performance with that of other athletes, take part in challenges and draw inspiration from other people’s achievements.
- Motivation and commitment: Strava’s social features, such as activity sharing and comments, encourage you to push yourself and stay motivated on a daily basis.
- Planning and analysing your training: thanks to the analysis tools, you can identify your strengths and work on your weaknesses, and plan routes!
- A very popular sports app: Strava is compatible with virtually all GPS-connected watches, including over thirty brands such as Garmin, Suunto, Apple, Coros, Polar, Samsung and others. So you can synchronise your sporting activities, segments and times.
Strava allows you to optimise your training, set goals and track your progress over time.
👉 In short, it’s a super-modern, comprehensive application for tracking your performance and staying motivated!
Strava subscription options and official prices
Strava comes in two main versions: a free version and a premium version.

Personally, what drives me to use Strava Premium is above all its route creation and sharing tool, so I can find new routes and races quickly, and the segment rankings to challenge myself 😉
Strava offers 3 options for subscribing to the Premium version of its application:
- Strava Premium Personnel
- €9.99/month with no commitment (€120/year)
- or €5/month with a 12-month commitment (€59.99/year)
- Strava Student
- €2.50/month (€29.99/year)
- Strava Family (4 accounts)
- €2.08/month per person (€99.99/year)
You can test Strava Premium for free thanks to the 30-day trial period. You can cancel at any time before the package starts at the end of the trial period.
How to get Strava for less
Pay less with GamsGo
Let’s get down to some practical ways of reducing the cost of your Strava subscription!
Strava for €3/month, Spotify for €2/month, Disney+ for €3/month and many other popular subscriptions are available at reduced prices on the GamsGo subscription-sharing platform.

It’s an ideal solution for saving money while gaining access to official subscriptions with full access to premium features.
To offer such attractive rates, GamsGo buys family subscriptions in large quantities and manages the sharing of account profiles itself.
This guarantees access to the subscription and, above all, big savings.
In the case of Strava, the subscription provided is an exclusive account, so you are the only user of the account!
I did the maths and saved over €250 this year by including my Netflix, Spotify and Strava subscriptions.
How do I subscribe to Strava on GamsGo?
1. Register on GamsGo for free and simply with your Google account, Facebook or your email address.
You can use my referral link to get an extra bonus on your first subscription:

- Cheapest subscriptions on the market
- Over 50 platforms offered including Netflix, Spotify, Adobe, Canva, Disney+, YouTube Premium, etc.
- Immediate access to accounts after purchase
- 24/7 customer service
free
2. Find and select the Strava subscription from the home page or the search bar.
3. Before proceeding to secure payment, don’t forget to use my promotional code to benefit from an extra 3 to 5%: budgenie

4. Once the order is placed, you receive an email and you can find your account access in the “Subscriptions” tab on your GamsGo account:

You can now log in to your new Strava account and discover all the Premium features. You can even retrieve your data if you already have a Strava account by following this article.
The Strava student offer
If you’re still at school or university, that is, if you’re over 16, then you can take advantage of the student package, which is very attractive because it gives you access to Strava at half price: €2.50/month, or €29.99/year.
To take advantage of the offer, you will need to confirm your student status and your higher education institution with the SheerID service.
This offer can be renewed for 4 years as long as you remain a student, which is really not bad!
Strava family subscription
Strava also offers a family subscription option, which is the best way to really save money on your subscription. This family plan is priced at €99.99/year for 4 users, which considerably reduces the cost per person to less than €3/month.
To benefit from this price, you need to find 4 friends or family members who are interested and share the cost of the subscription. Once the account holder has subscribed, they can invite the other 3 to join their premium subscription.
👉 If you know people who are interested, this is clearly the best option, otherwise you can take advantage of a similar rate on an individual basis thanks to GamsGo as I showed you above 😉
Use a VPN to get Strava?
The VPN isn’t the best solution for getting Strava for less because the prices don’t seem to be much lower elsewhere (I’ve only found Brazil) and it’s quite complicated to recover your data because you have to create a new account in the target country.
I don’t recommend this method, which requires a minimum of knowledge, may violate the terms of use and, above all, requires you to pay for a VPN as well.
