It’s definitely my favourite solution, both for its simplicity and its effectiveness, and I’ve been using it myself for over three years! I’ll explain in detail how it works, how much you save, and why other methods (VPNs, mobile network deals, cashback) aren’t as good a deal as they seem.

The Family Plan involves finding five other people, paying €218.99 up front, collecting the money from each of them and managing any cancellations during the year. Other ways to pay less for Deezer
Apart from GamsGo, there are other ways to get discounts on a Deezer Premium subscription, but they’re nowhere near as good as the savings we’ve just looked at above!
Sharing an account with friends and family
If you have a friend who also wants access to Deezer, account sharing seems to be the most obvious way to easily cut down on subscription costs. However, it all depends on the number of people sharing the account.
– With the Duo plan at €15.99 per month, the cost per person drops to €8. That’s almost three times the price of GamsGo: halving the cost isn’t enough to make sharing worthwhile.
– With the Family plan at €19.99 per month for 6 independent accounts, the price drops to €3.33 per person. Now we’re really getting close to GamsGo. But this price assumes that all 6 slots remain occupied all year round!
And even in that case, if you’re managing the sharing yourself, you’ll need to make sure you receive payment from everyone every month, and if one person wants to stop, you’ll probably have to switch to a different plan.
So, ultimately, it’s less financially attractive and less stable than going through GamsGo!
Take advantage of the Deezer Student offer
Deezer offers a student plan at €5.99 per month – half the price of the Premium plan, with exactly the same features. The platform regularly runs a promotional offer of €1 per month for the first six months, bringing the cost for the first year down to around €41.94.
This is Deezer’s best official offer, but it requires you to prove your student status via a verification platform, and to repeat the process regularly.

GamsGo, Spliiit or Sharesub: which one should you choose?
These three platforms are based on the same principle – sharing a Family subscription – but they operate differently. Spliiit and Sharesub are peer-to-peer marketplaces. A user takes out a Deezer Family subscription, lists their spare spots online, and you join by paying your share plus a commission.
GamsGo buys and manages the subscriptions itself: the platform owns the account and guarantees it works properly.
The price difference: €2.87 on GamsGo compared to around €4.49 – that’s an extra saving of almost €20 a year.

Mobile network deals (Orange, SFR, Bouygues)
Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom regularly include Deezer in their plans. Depending on the promotion, Deezer Premium drops to €0 or €1 per month for 2 to 4 months, then reverts to €11.99 per month.
Let’s take the most common promotion, €1 per month for 3 months:
3 × €1 + 9 × €11.99 = €110.91 over the year, or an average of €9.24 per month.
That’s still more than three times the price of GamsGo. These offers are based on a classic scheme: a very low introductory rate, followed by an automatic switch to the full price.
👉 If your current mobile provider is running a promotion, it might be worth taking advantage of it for the first few months. In that case, make a note of the end date in your diary before switching to GamsGo.
Take advantage of a cashback offer
Cashback is one of my favourite ways to get money back on my purchases. But on Deezer, this isn’t the best option because it can’t be combined with GamsGo and, more importantly, it’s a one-off payment received upon subscription, whereas the savings made via GamsGo are repeated every month.
In practical terms, you’d have to take out a subscription on the Deezer website (and therefore pay the full price), and the cashback would be a one-off payment at the time of subscription. So even with 10 per cent cashback on an annual subscription costing €107.99 (purchasable via a Deezer gift card), you’d still be paying over €97 a year, compared to €34.44 via GamsGo.
But cashback remains excellent elsewhere: for booking holidays or shopping in-store. My favourite platform is Widilo, which offers €5 when you sign up.
Using a VPN
The final method – the best known and most overrated. A VPN allows you to virtually change your location to a different country so you can subscribe at the local rate. The price differences are significant: Deezer Premium generally costs less than €1 a month in Argentina or Turkey, for example.
On paper, it’s unbeatable, but in practice I don’t use it and don’t recommend it because it’s much more complicated.
– You need to bear in mind that the cost of the VPN is an additional expense (€2 to €4 a month for a reliable service).
– Deezer and payment platforms often check the origin of the card used to make the payment.
– Using this method may breach Deezer’s terms and conditions, and you could find your account blocked.
In a nutshell: Deezer Premium at a great price
In conclusion, the best solution that ticks almost all the boxes in terms of speed, reliability and efficiency for getting a cheap Deezer Premium subscription is to use GamsGo!
